what is Maslow's hierarchy of need theory?
Maslow separated the five level of needs into lower level to high level in which there are divided into two part one is deficiency needs and second is growth needs lower level of needs in Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory are physiological and safety needs and higher level needs are social needs esteem needs and self actualization needs where higher level of needs satisfied person internally and lower level of need satisfied person externally.
Maslow identified five levels in his need hierarchy
1.Physiological needs
2.Safety needs
3.Social need
4.Esteem needs
5. Needs for self actualization
1.Physiological Needs:- First every individual try to fulfill they are physiological needs these are Hunger third sleep and sex. According to the Maslow's theory once basic needs are satisfied they no longer motivate the person after satisfaction of basic needs person will be motivated by next high level of needs
2.Safety Needs:- The second level of need is safety needs according to Maslow's everyone willing to safety need both physical and emotional safety it is also true that won the safety needs are satisfied they also do not motivate an individual
3.Social Needs :- According to the Maslow the third level of needs connected with love, affection, belonging and friendship
4.Esteem Needs:- According to the Maslow the fourth level of need is Esteem needs which presents the higher need of humans the need power achievement and status can be considered part of this level contains both self esteem and self's from others.
5.Need for self actualization:- according to the Maslow's hierarchy of need theory needs for self actualization is fifth and higher level of human need this level represents the higher needs of human, it is closely related to the self concept a person who have self actualized are self fulfilled and have realized all their potential.
