Principals of decision making  in management 

Decision making process is a difficult process, when decision maker starts decision making process to resolve the organization problems so that organization could achieve their desired goals and objective. he has to face many problems and difficulties, to make this process easy and effective, principal of decision making in management plays an important role. There are 11 effective principles of decision making in management which help the decision making process. 



Principals of decision making

1.Principal off problem Ascertainment :- To solve the problem in effective way decision maker must be ascertain problem first, because well defined problem can we solve in easy way. Decision maker should reach to the real cause of the problem with the help of symptoms. 

2.Principle of reliable information :- principal of reliable information is a second principal of decision making which states that decision should be taken by the decision maker on proper and reliable information. 

3.Principle of alternative :- principal of alternative is very effective principal of decision making in the principal decisions should be made by choosing one alternative from among. In the decision making process decision maker should know development identify alternative. 


4.Principle of limiting factor :- according to principal of limiting factor in principle of decision making one alternative should be selected by the decision maker only after considering the limiting and critical factor to the alternatives. 

5.Principle of rationality :- according to the principal of rationality in the principles of decision making ,decision maker should be rational in making decisions.  he/she should make logical and object to decision considering all the factors affecting the decisions. 

6.Principle of participations :- principal of participations please an important role while decision making process because participation facilitates coordination and acceptibility of decision. Hence sub Ordinance who are to implement the decisions should be given proper participation. 
 
7.Principle of flexibility :- according to the principal of flexibility the decision should be made flexible enough by the decision maker to meet  expected changes in the environment because flexible decision can produce optimal  results. 
 
8.Principle of timing :- timeliness is the important factor of decision, according to principal of timing in the principal of decision making decision should be timely made and implemented by the decision maker

9.Principle of integration of interests :- Principle of Integration of interest one of the principle of decision making. according this principle decision should integrate and  serve the organization  as well as persona interest. Although  personal interest should come after organizational interest.    

10.Principle of communication :- To ensure better coordination and cooperation it is important that decisions should be properly and timely communicated to all concerned with all. Principal of communication help to do this during decision making process. 

 11. Principle of feedback:- it is one of the most important principle of decision making, it requires that decisions should be backed by proper feedback system so that decision maker could make necessary correction. Because it is not important that all the decisions are correct and accurate 100%.
